J. Safra Sarasin Gestion (Monaco)
Monegasque asset management company of the J. Safra Sarasin group, born from the renaming of J. Safra Gestion (Monaco) in 2013 — the group's bank followed the same change a few weeks earlier.
This record documents a phenomenon archives rarely show: a simultaneous rebrand across several entities of one group. In 2013 the J. Safra group merged with Sarasin. In Monaco, two distinct companies were renamed weeks apart — the bank first, approved by ministerial decree of 6 June 2013 and published on 28 June; the asset manager next, with article 3 of the bylaws amended, published on 2 August 2013.
Both deeds go through the same notarial practice, Me Henry Rey. Read in sequence, the two notices rebuild the calendar of an international operation from its Monegasque administrative effects.
A methodological note
The CCAF links initial accreditation no. 2008-03 of 19 March 2008 to this entity. Memoria cites it without reconstructing the name it then bore: the deeds consulted do not establish it.
As for any asset-management record in this guide: no client data, assets under management or performance is sought or published. Only public institutional facts are.
The facts are paraphrased; only the source is cited. A correction, a missing date? Write to Memoria.
