K. Place Multi Family Office
Monegasque multi family office authorised in 2019 as KPMG Multi Family Office, renamed K. Place Multi Family Office by general meeting of 24 November 2025.
This record documents one of the Principality’s first authorised multi family offices — incorporated in 2019, two and a half years after the legal framework was created — and its 2026 renaming.
An essential legal nuance
The words « multi family office » in the corporate name are not a commercial claim: they are a legal requirement. A legal notice from another local company states explicitly that « multi family office » must appear in the name. Law No. 1.439 of 2 December 2016 protects that title: « No one may use the title of “multi family office” […] or “MFO” », under penalty of criminal sanctions.
A directory treating the mention as marketing would misunderstand its nature.
What Memoria does not conflate
Two distinct authorisations exist for these companies: the ministerial decree authorising multi family office activity (here no. 2019-520), and CCAF accreditation required for financial advisory or order reception-transmission activities. The first does not prove the second. Memoria never presents one for the other.
A methodological note
No ministerial renaming decree was found for the change to « K. Place Multi Family Office »: the new name is established by the legal notice and the Ministry of State filing receipt of 22 January 2026. The record cites the source that exists and flags what is missing, rather than assuming an act.
Context, without legal link: the founding assembly of the Multi Family Office Trade Association in January 2025 was held at KPMG Monaco’s address. Memoria records it as a fact, without concluding on the syndicate’s membership, which is not public.
The facts are paraphrased; only the source is cited. A correction, a missing date? Write to Memoria.
