CFM Indosuez Gestion
Monegasque asset management company in the Crédit Agricole / Indosuez group, renamed from « Monaco Gestions FCP » in 2015 and manager of the group's Monegasque mutual funds.
CFM Indosuez Gestion is the Crédit Agricole / Indosuez group’s asset management company in Monaco. It bears the name of the Principality’s oldest bank — the Crédit Foncier de Monaco, founded in 1922 — whose initials form the « CFM » acronym.
A cascade of renamings
The interest of this record lies in a specific document: the notice to unitholders published in the Journal de Monaco on 1 April 2016. In a few lines, it announces that the management company becomes CFM Indosuez Gestion, that the depositary also changes its name, and that a Monegasque mutual fund is renamed. It is a snapshot of a group aligning an entire chain of intermediaries under a single brand.
The management company’s own name change dated from November 2015: « Monaco Gestions FCP » became « CFM Indosuez Gestion » by general meeting decision.
Why it is archived
Monegasque mutual funds are a whole segment of the financial centre — and one of the least documented. By keeping notices to unitholders, Memoria preserves a trace of what changes in a savings vehicle: who manages it, who holds it, what it is called. Without these entries, those changes would leave no public trace.
No performance, assets-under-management or subscription data is published: only institutional facts are.
The facts are paraphrased; only the source is cited. To suggest a correction, write to Memoria.
