The Monaco Media Library is the public reading network managed by the Town Hall. Memoria distinguishes the institution (communal library, media library, legal deposit entrusted to the Louis Notari Library) from the buildings which host it: for a long time avenue de la Madone in Monte-Carlo, then Médiathèque Caroline since 2025.

Caroline, one place for the entire network

The inauguration of December 10, 2025 brings together in a building of more than 2,500 m² general library, video library-sound library, youth area and games library. The Louis Notari room retains its function of study and documentary research.

Memoria does not have, in the sources consulted, the date of opening of the building on avenue de la Madone: only the institutional chain and the new Caroline site are solidly documented.

The facts are paraphrased; only the source is cited. Any corrections? Write to Memoria.
